SharePoint 2013 - Search ItemPath:"{any thing}" show no results. RRS feed

  • Question

  • I recreated the search service application (after exporting the search terms to CSV)

The new one is partitioned on 2 servers and works fine with any search term but "ItemPath"

In the Schema the property is the same as another farm that works correctly.

Property Name  Type Multi  Query Search  Retrieve Refine Sort  Safe  Mapped Crawled Properties   Aliases
    ItemPath          Text   -       Query  -         Retrieve   -       -      Safe  Basic:11, Basic:9, Basic:2     ItemPath

even ItemPath:"http"  bring no results. Any item should have "http" in its path, right?

Any idea what could be the cause?

    Thanks in advance

  • Hi Ofer Gal,

As far as I know, there's no such manged property "ItemPath" in search schema. I think you are saying "Path" managed property. You could try to use Path:"http" in your query.

  • Neither path:"http" nor url:"http" work too.

  • Hi Ofer Gal,

Please check the manged property "Path" in the search schema, make sure the "path" property is mapped to the responding crawl properties: Basic:11;Basic:9,Web:2.

    Best Regards,
