How to get notes in the same order like it application by Rest API RRS feed

  • Question

  • I created notes.

    1,2,3

Then manually reoder them in One Note Microsoft app.

    3,2,1

When I get notes without parameters by Rest API It sorted by lastmodified.

    I added "orderby=createdByAppId,createdTime" and get 1,2,3

But how to get them in the same order like in One Note Microsoft app ?

    I mean 3,2,1 ?

  • Hi,

Per my knowledge, you can only sort them ascending or descending. Maybe you can handle this on the client side?

  • Hello,

This forum is for discussing issues related to Office JavaScript API. Since you are developing with Office 365 REST API, I would move this thread into Office 365 for Developers forum.

  • Hi,

As I understand correctly, you want to order them in descending order.

According to this MSDN article it should be something like:

    orderby=lastModifiedTime desc

No, I want in the same order I set manually using Office One Note App.

Next criterion don't give result I need:

    - by createdTime

    - by lastModifiedTime

    - by title

Q: How to get notes order I set manually using Office One Note App ?
