SharePoint Search Application Content Source - Crawling issue RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello Everyone,

This is regarding the one of the content sources in Search Service Application.

We have multiple Content Sources and one of the Content Source's contents are not crawled properly.

I created new site and run the Full Crawl to get results in search but no results from that particular Content Source.

While results getting displayed from other Content Sources.

So used search api through JSOM and REST calls to fetch the data but no results were returned either.

I run Full Crawl which took merely a minute to complete, without any errors.

Even i did reset index on one of site and done crawling still no success.

Could anybody please suggest steps i should take/follow to mitigate this issue?

    Thank you.

  • Hi Onkar,

What is the type of the content source? Is it SharePoint site?

Is there some error message? You can check the crawl log to see it.

Make sure the content access account has at least read permission on the content source.
