EWS E-mail encryption RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have built a webservice client which uses the Exchange Webservices SDK 2007 in order to send E-Mails. This is working pretty good. Now I have the requirement to

    1. encryt this mails with a certain certificate xy
    2. digitally sign this mails also with a certain certificate yz

Is this possible by using the EWS (Exchange Web Services) SDK???

If it is not possible to do this via EWS (Exchange Web Services) SDK:

    1. Is there a standard functionality in exchange server 2007 where I can specify a rule like "if mailto EMAIL REMOVED encrypt mail with cerificate xy and sign it with certificate yz" before sending?
    2. If no standard functionality is available are there any 3rd party products where you can define rules like that and encrypt and sign mails?

    Thx for any help
    Markus

  • Oh, Markus...
I've just asked the question about EWS too. Hope, that it will take no more than 10 years for reply.
