ctrl-v brings up object browser dialog sometimes

Question

If I highlight some text by double clicking on it, then hit ctrl-v to paste over it, the object browser comes up sometimes.

Any guesses what is going on, I found no posts on this behavior.

Sounds like something is intercepting your keystrokes.  Just before you Ctrl+V do you see anything in the status bar?  If you run in safemode (/safemode) does the problem still occur?  Go to Tools\Options -> Environment\Keyboard and enter Ctrl+V in the appropriate field and check all the commands associated with it.
