Custom content type fields not visible in library basing on this content type RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I created my content - type with fields: serialnumber, inches, technicalParameters

Then I created new library tvLibrary, based on that content type.

When I click new item, it wans to upload file instead of showing form with fields of my content type, just like it would be on a list.

Unfortunatelly this must be library, not list as all functionality like publishing, check in/check out, save must be identical to the library

  • Hi,

As far as I known, there is no NewForm.aspx in document library.

Can you see the custom fields when you click “Edit properties”?

When you go to edit your current view, could you see the custom fields in the column name list to display?

    Hope it helps.
