  • Are the users opening on a client or a web-based form?

  • Also verify if you are using any data connections. To have better performance always try not to use the "Automatically retrieve data when form is opened"

  • I agree with Mahesh.. Another thing, How many data connections do you have? how many items are retrieved in each data connection? This will affect the performance of InfoPath loading. I suggest that you stop retrieving data connections on load. Instead query the data connections whenever you want to use them.

  • Man, you have to give us a LOT more information than this.  You can't just say you're using InfoPath and it is very slow.  That tell us nothing.

  • Just try to uncheck the check box for retrieving data in this data connection when the form opens in the data connection settings for the external lists. and try to open your from. Do this data connection after data connection in order to troubleshoot the problem and determine which data connection maybe slowing your form.

  • So then it's probably your data connections.  How many items are you retrieving with each data connection?  Have you tried removing them or turning them off before asking for help?  What were the results of your troubleshooting steps?

  • I am retrieving 2(1 item per each data connection),removed the third one from form load but form is still slow

  • Your data connections only retrieve 1 item ever?  WHy do you have data sources with only one item?  That doesn't make sense either.

What happens when you remove ALL the data connections?  What happens when you create a new form with no fields?  You have to do all of this when troubleshooting.  You can't just make a form and say it's slow.  You have to dig, dig, dig, and eliminate variables by testing every permutation you can think of until you find the source of the slowness.
