  • Hi,

    Create a Classic SharePoint online site template using PnP provisioning engine.

  • First we need to connect to Site. To perform connection add,

    $tenantSiteURL = Read-Host "Provide tenant url"  
    Connect-PnPOnline -Url $tenantSiteURL  
    #Executing this line will ask for credentials. Provide use name and password to connect. 

    To Create a Classic sites just run the below commands.

    # To add Classic Teamsite  
      
    New-PnPTenantSite -Title My_TeamSite -Url http://portal/sites/My_TeamSite -Owner user@domain.com -TimeZone 4 -Template STS#0

    The following PnP PowerShell for your reference.

    #get pnp provisioning template from a classic team site
    Connect-PnPOnline -Url https://tenant.sharepoint.com/sites/team/MyTest
    Get-PnPProvisioningTemplate -Out c:\temp\mytestsite.xml
    
    #apply pnp provisioning template to a classic team site
    Connect-PnPOnline -Url https://tenant.sharepoint.com/sites/team/MyTest1
    Apply-PnPProvisioningTemplate -Path c:\temp\mytestsite.xml
