A box pops up saying that there is an error in the Workflow. My first Approval Process is in red text. I answer the box and the red text reverts to the basic blue link. There is no visual indicator within the steps to show me what step
caused the issue. How do I find what step or clause is causing the issue? I modified multiple steps and do not think I did anything unusual.
There should be a visual indicator or an error log somewhere but I cannot find either.
There is no identifier in SPD that points out specifically which part of the task is an issue. the primary issue I have seen with this error is due to improper value look ups. If any column, variable, or value that you have being used as a
parameter has changed it may need to be updated in the action. A good way to verify is to go through the action and click on each of the parameters and re-select the proper look up.
