Access 2003 Runtime RRS feed

  • Thanks for taking the time to read my question.

My friend would like me to make him a spreadsheet that does pricing for him. Based on his description it would be much better to do this in Access, but he does not have Access.

Here at work we have Access2010 and you can make a runtime directly out of it, which is so VERY nice.

At home I only have 2003 and so I'd like to be able to make him a runtime out of 2003.

I found this page http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/access-help/obtain-and-deploy-the-access-2003-runtime-HA001120886.aspx but I find it to be confusing.

Where can I download the runtime and is it free?

  • To distribute Access applications with Access 2003 runtime, you needed the Microsoft Visual Studio Tools for Office (VSTO). This non-free product is no longer available from Microsoft. You might try finding a legal second-hand copy...
