Set value in custom column Task List RRS feed

  • I've created a column DueDateTest as DateTime in Task List. Designer workflow 2010 I'm not able to see this column under BEFORE A TASK IS ASSIGNED when I'm trying to set the value.

    then Set Task Field to Value

    above step in Field my created column in Task List is not showing. Please advice.

  • Hi SP2013Devp,

    Whether you add a new list column in task list? It’s by design that list column will not be shown in the “Set Task Field” action.

    As a workaround, you could create a site column and choose existing field or create the new field under Task Form Field section in SharePoint designer directly.


    And then you could select the field you need in “Set Task Field”  action as shown below:
