Error when adding AD OU/Groups to persistent chat room members RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,
We're currently installing Lync 2013, and I'm trying to add OU's or Security Groups to the persistent chat room members, but get an error saying Invalid members. I have no problem adding users with sip.

The OU's and Groups are within the Category scope.

I can't seem to find any documentation on this. Do you have any advice?

    With kind regards,
    Steinar

  • Hi Steinar,

I just tried adding an OU that has a few users in it that are not Lync users and this worked for me (validated having the OU with no members, no sip address and belonging to the denied members... which all worked).

Do these users in this OU belong to another Lync Pool?  Are they all part of the same domain?

    Greg.
