Answers

  • Hi Blitz,

What kind of this field ” C/O ”?

Not all column types are supported in Word.

Calculated, Managed Metadata, people and group and multiple checkbox column will not appear in Quick parts.

If you're not using the column above, create a new library using the Document Library template and test again, compare the result.

    Best regards

  • I am creating basic custom document template from list item properties and below are the list items

    List A

    Name (Require field)

    C/O  (optional field)

    Document Library B

    1. Create a Content Type using document as the parent type.

    2. Attach the Content Type to a document library.

    3. Try to create a new document using the Content Type

4.edit the template by inserting quick parts properties in word document

    Name

    C/O

5.if C/O value is optional it should not show if the value is not present in the above word dcoument

how to add the optional values from list field as part of quickpart properties in the document template .docx ?
