Is it possible to monitor access to one item in the list? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

On the SharePoint 2013 site i have list with links. Is it possible to track how many users click on the item in this list?
Audit log shows only that users accessed the page AllItems.aspx, but does not show which item they accessed.

  • Hi Oleh Tserkovnyuk.

As far as I know, there is no out-of-the-box way to get the audit data for a list item in SharePoint 2013.
You could try implementing your custom auditing by using the SPAudit class or looking for any third-party solution that could fulfill this requirement.

    Bye.
