office.js: Word document looses bindings when copied to OneDrive RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi there,

we have developed a Office Addin (with office.js) that inserts OoXML content into a word document.

This works as expected with Office 2016 Desktop versions.

When we open a document with Word Online the bindings are not found anymore!?
The file is copied therefore 1:1 into OneDrive for Business.

Word Online uses the exact same Add In as Word Desktop.

When we create a new document in Word Online and insert OoXml content here and re-open the file then the bindings are ok.

    This is a reproducable bug.

    Can anyone help?

    TIA, Andi

  • Hi duck42,

you had mentioned that,"When we open a document with Word Online the bindings are not found anymore!?"

can you post your code to reproduce the issue.

we will try to make a test with your code and check whether it is a bug or any issue with the code.

currently you just post the description , from which we cannot know what exactly you are doing in your code.

if possible for you then try to provide detailed steps to reproduce the issue.

if it is a bug then we can try to submit the feedback to Word user voice.

so that Word developers can come to know about the issue and try to fix it in future.
