Exchange Server - HTML tasks, contacts and appointments RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

I have an issue that in Outlook I see a wrong format of HTML  tasks, contacts and appointments.

My investigation is that when I create HTML task, contact(notes) or appointment. I set PR_HTML_BODY ( EWS or MAPI). Exchange converts that item to RTF format. PR_RTF_COMPRESSED is set by Exchange.

Can Exchange work with HTML in tasks, contacts and appointments?

In case that there is no support for HTML in tasks, contacts and appointments. I have an issue that Exchange converts same HTML code different for Mailbox and for Public folder?  I don't know why.

My solution is to set PR_RTF_COMPRESSED but I would like to avoid to write own HTML->RTF converter.

MS Exchange 2013 and MS outloook2013

    Thanks

No its driven by the client and because Outlook has always used RTF in Contact and Appointment this is why its this way. (its a legacy thing that's hard to change because its client driven)

    Cheers
