  • Hi SimhaVL,

From the error message “Access is denied”, you could check your permission in the document library and in the site.

And then you also could clear IE cache and switch to another browser to check if the same issue will occur.

    Best regards,

    Sara Fan

  • Hi SimhaVL,

The issue only occurs on some users, then to troubleshoot the issue, you could remove the users and re-grant the permission for the users in the SharePoint site.

And create a new document library and check if these users have the same issue.

    Best regards,

    Sara Fan

  • Hi SimhaVL,

You could give these users with higher permission in the document library and site and check if the same issue will occur.

  • Hi SimhaVL,

We cannot disable the context menu by controlling permission.

Then you could consider hiding the context menu by custom code.

  • Hi SimhaVL,

I am afraid that there is no such demo for the issue currently.

You could consider developing the custom code by yourself.

  • Hi SimhaVL,

To troubleshoot the issue, you could create new user to check if the same issue will occur. If the issue does not occur on new user, you could replace the problematical users with the new users.

If the issue still occurs, you could consider giving more permission for these users.

    Best regards,

    Sara Fan
