Is there a way to customize the "Yes" and "No" button text in a Yes/No Messagebox? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hey guys, I want to have a message box with two options. Instead of Yes/No I want it to say "LOCK" or "UNLOCK." Any way of accomplishing this?

  • Hi,
I'm afraid it would be impossible.  Please create a Form with two buttons "LOCK" and "UNLOCK".

  • Hey John,

I have never used APIs before. I went to the link and downloaded the link provided and it just downloaded a blank excel document, now what?

For another API solution, there's this:

  • Hi,

This thread seems to be closed by the original poster, but it continues.
So, I made a sample UserForm like a message box.

I've shared it (UserForm_Msgbox.xlsm) via OneDrive.
    Please download and try it.

This code can't be used on 64-bit apparently.

Tried this API you shared John and even used the sample code provided in the link for testing on a command button. It makes my database "stop working."
