Develop a Video Player App which has its own codec.(Windows StoreApp) RRS feed

  • 질문

  • Hello.

Currently, my company is developing a video player app which is able to play local and network video sources.

In cases of iOS and Android platform, the application has been implemented with FFmpeg library and it's on a service now.

In a same way, we almost implemented windows store app with FFmpeg. But we found that the app failed the Windows Store App Certification Test. (Supported API Test Fail)

    So, here is questions.

    1. The failure happened on a "Supported API Test". Is there any way to use a win32 api of the FFmpeg in a Windows StoreApp?

    2. If an app uses 3rd's party video codec not a windows api, is it possible to register the app to Windows AppStore? (Windows Store App type)

    Thanks.
