  • Hi all,

I'm trying to install the Windows Phone 8.0 SDK son Windows 10. The installation fails and reading the log I 've discovered this error:

    [14AC:1E24][2015-08-03T10:23:35]: Applying execute package: silverlight5_DRT, action: Repair, path: C:\ProgramData\Package Cache\DEB5078B60B74431E2830831EB48DF129CB32932\packages\Silverlight\5.0_DRT\Silverlight_Developer.exe, arguments: '"C:\ProgramData\Package Cache\DEB5078B60B74431E2830831EB48DF129CB32932\packages\Silverlight\5.0_DRT\Silverlight_Developer.exe" /q /ignorewarnings'

[1D74:1B24][2015-08-03T10:23:36]: Error 0x800705de: Failed to configure per-machine EXE package.

It seems that the silverlight is not supported but I've istalled apart both the silverlight 5 sdk and the silverlight 5 runtime (using internet explorer becasue edge and chrome is not supported) successfully.

After the installation with error of the Windows Phone sdk 8.0 the Visual Studio 2012 not have the template to build app for this platform

    Any idea ?
