    Question

  • I have a heading CC Minutes and this is coded in an html file.  Then in a folder I have 3 pdf files that I want to link to this heading so that when you click on CC Minutes, you can select one of the 3 files to view.  How do I do that?

  • What language are you using? How you do it depends much on whether it is a managed or unmanaged application.

  • Hi Jane hossfeld,

    According to your description, I suggest you could try to use jqeruy UI dialog to achieve your requirement.

    You could use jquery fired the model popup when click the header.

    Then in the opened dialog box, show the link of the pdf.

    More details, you could refer to below sample codes:

    <!DOCTYPE HTML>
    <html>
    <head>
        <meta charset="utf-8">
        <title>jQuery Modal</title>
        <link rel="stylesheet" href="//code.jquery.com/ui/1.12.1/themes/base/jquery-ui.css">
         <script src="https://code.jquery.com/jquery-1.12.4.js"></script>
        <script src="https://code.jquery.com/ui/1.12.1/jquery-ui.js"></script>
        <script>
            $(function () {
                $('#openBtn').click(function () {
                    $('#ex1').dialog();
                });
            });
        </script>
    </head>
    <body>
        <p><header id="openBtn"> CC Minutes(Clike Me)</header></p>
        <div id="ex1" style="display: none;">
             <a href="test.pdf">PDF1</a>
            <br/>
            <a href="test.pdf">PDF2</a>
            <br />
            <a href="test.pdf">PDF3</a>
        </div>

    </body>
    </html>
