Printing issue in internet explorer 7 RRS feed

  • Question

  • I developed a sharepoint intranet web application.

If I print a document in that application in ie 6,i am getting 13pages with out line breaks. The same document in ie 7 i am getting 85 pages if i print.

While viewing it is showing same in both browsers. The problem is with printing only.

how can i solve this ?

  • Hi,

(assuming the same printer and printer settings on both machines - one is not set for Duplix printing?)

You need IE8 to test your sharepoint pages.

From IE8 choose the View>Style>No Style menu and then print your page (without any styling) to test your style rules.

You then can debug your stylesheets from the Developer Tool in IE8.

  • Hi--I have poblems printing in Explorer 8 and from microrsoft office and e-mails

    I have a HP Pavilion 6767c with a dual core Intel (6 G).

I upgraded from Vista to Windows 7.

Current software includes:Nero and Naturally speaking 10 (upgraded to 10.1).

I have a HP Printer all in one C7280.

The software is not communicating with the printer.

The software indicates the proper printer number--but no print?

    Help--any ideas?
    Thank you.
