Web App that responds to Server-Side activity

    Question

  • At a Microsoft conference a year-or-two ago (MSBuild?), there was a demonstration of a web app that had a map of the world. As activities (I think it was sending text?) occurred around the world, little red "blips" would temporarily appear on the map to indicate levels of activity. Does anyone know where a sample of such an app can be obtained? What technology would your recommend? SignalR? I'm using VS 2017 with .NET Core.

  • Hi DaveIII,

In my opinion, by using SignalR could achieve your requirement.

It could be used to develop  developing real-time web functionality.

So you could using javascript to fill the data getting from the singalR server-side to achieve real-time showing the data in your web-page.

More details about how to use signalR, you could refer to this article.

    Best Regards,
