Open the page in IE9 then F12 to display the Developer Tool, then Select the IE8 browser mode.... the issue disappears..... this indicates that that version of mootools is using UAS sniffing to detect the browser version...

The left hand console says that it is using 1.3.1 but when I query mootools.version I get 1.2.5. Perhaps the tools author can throw more light on it? (correction... the hosted iframe is using 1.3.1

You can still submit feedback for IE at connect.microsoft.com/ie

OT: I noticed that the latest version of jQuery is now 1.5.2... it only just changed from 1.5 to 1.5.1 a few weeks ago because of issues with IE9. The iframe test page is using 1.4.4

    Regards.
