Default Button Back Color

  • In design mode - how do I change the default back color of buttons?  I am using a white font and can not see the writing with the back color.  The backcolor is transparent so in runtime it is fine (back color goes to blue and white shows).

  • Hi ATL151,

There is a BackColor property for Buttons. You can change it from the properties window of Button.

  • That is what I am referring to.  When I set it to "Transparent" - it stays "Light Gray" in design mode so I cant read the white font.  Once I compile and run - the buttons do turn transparent but not in design mode.
