Can not upload app package because "SDK is out-of-date", although it is updated. RRS feed

    Hey guys, 

    Lately i encountered a problem. 

    i use a VM to run Windows 8.1 Pro Preview, and develop with Visual Studio Express 2013 Preview, 12.0.20617.1 PREVIEW.

    when i finished developing, as instructed, i clicked STORE -> create app package, and then uploaded the *.appx (the *.appxupload gave the same result), and although my windows 8.1 SDK is up-to-date, the wizard give the following error:

    "validation error: this package was built with an out-of-date version of the Windows SDK. Please update to the latest version"

    i tried everything, reinstalling, restarting and even reverting the VM to snapshot and trying again.

    To submit an app to the Windows Store using Visual Studio 2013, you will need to build and publish the app using the final release, available on October 18.

    At Windows 8.1 general availability, the Windows Store will begin accepting submissions of apps designed for Windows 8 that are developed with the final release of Visual Studio 2013.
