היום (יום שלישי) אני מעביר הרצאה פתוחח במשרדי חברת מייקרוסופט - כולם מוזמנים!
בהרצאה אני אעביר סקירה רוחבית על תכונות חדשות שנכנסות בגרסת 2016 של SQL Server, תוך דגש על שינויים ואפשרויות חדשות שמשנים כללי המשחק בתכנון האפליקציה שלנו. ההרצאה מתאימה לכולם: מפתחים, DBA וכמובן ארכיטקטי תוכנה.

SQL Server 2016 - New feature from the developers' point of view.
SQL 2016 brings us number of major enhancements. Several of these new features are game changer for developers and applications architects. Changes in hardware and new features must implement in software architect. Several new features, which usually implemented in the application side, are built-in in the Server side, as of SQL 2016. These can dramatically improve security, simplifies the implementation, and shorten the developing time.
In this session, we'll explore some of the new features, which relevant to developers and to the application architecture. We will demonstrate in practice basic implementation of features like: Row-Level-Security (RLS), Dynamic-Data-Masking, JSON Support, Temporal Data Tables, Stretch DB, Master Data Management, Always Encrypted, and more (flexible depending on the time).

About the speaker:
Ronen Ariely (Blog, website, Facebook, LinkedIn) is a senior consultant & architect, a professional programmer, architecting SQL & BI enterprise level solutions. He has more than 15 years of experience in variety of programming languages and technologies, leading and managing development teams and BI projects. Ronen graduate his BA in Physics and continued MA studies by specialization in Geo-physics and seismic data analysis, at the Tel-Aviv University.
