Inserting a slideshow in Expression Web 4 RRS feed

  • Question

  • I would like to insert a slideshow, like the one at www.gervaisrentals.com, into a page in our website. I'm using Expression Web 4 Studio Professional SP2. I have followed a lot of the links to answers in this forum but most of them are 2008 or before. Is there an easier way to do this in v.4?

My experience is very limited, although I've been taking a CSS course. I found an interesting solution in Innerfade at jQuery, but I can't figure out how to use it. Do I need anything more than the download file? Do I somehow install it under Tools--Add-ins? The webpage has a javascript and some HTML? Can I put a <div> on the page and put the <ul> inside it, after putting the javascript into the head?

    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

  • There is nothing about EW - 2008 or now - that changes how you insert a slideshow.  You need to follow the instructions for whatever slideshow you are using.  By the way, that site is using a flash slideshow.  You'd need to know how to create one, and that is not something you do in EW.
