Submit Form Data to SQL Server

  • I have saved data to Access database following examples, but I'm having an issue with sending data to SQL Server.  I create the form, the form fields, and the connection string.

I believe a command string or some sort needs setup so that it executes the insert string of this command object of some type,.

I've used VS2005 in the past and was able to create the connection strings and command strings and after defining these two I could call a connection comman that would fire the insert comment.

Can someone help with this small part, or send me to examples that write to a SQL Server.  I can see that the 'code behind' stuff of VS is now in the coding view of the aspx page in MS Expression, so I know I'm getting close.

Thanks in advance for any assistance.
