Backgrounds? RRS feed

  • Question

  •    I am wondering if there is a way to basically create two backgrounds.  What I want is a black background, then on top of that a smaller background like sandy brown.  I attempted to do something like this the other day and one overlapped the other.  I don't know if it was the way I went about it or if it's even possible.

  • Make the page background black,
    Then create a centered div and make the background of the div the other color.

    <html>

    <head>
    <title></title>
    <style type="text/css">
    body {
        background-color: #000000;
    }
    .tandiv {
        background-color: #F9E139;
    }
    </style>
    </head>

    <body>

    <div class="tandiv">
    </div>

    </body>

    </html>
