I read in the user guide that if you are working on multiple comptuer for a project, that using a shared network was how you manage to do this. The problem is that if you move the location of the file, or rename it, it doesn't link back. I am unable
to find a way to re-link it back to a path that has the same information. Am I missing something or is that feature unavailable?
Much like Adobe InDesign, files are linked, so the .indd file remains smaller, but you are able to re-link and preflight. Here in EE4, it seems you are unable to do anything with the source file once it's being edited, which is extremely difficult.
Another issue is creating a tutorial video. I want it to be able to playback as one long video but I also want to be able to create segments, so users can jump to videos that relate to exactly what they need. Is there a way to do this easily? It
seems that I would have to delete all of the clips, while keeping only the desired ones, and then encode it. It would be nice to highlight the portion I wanted, and then enccode those specific files. It seems like I have to do a lot of running around to do
what should be an easy task.
