Does Project SDK let us to replace the default Calendar? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi

I like to replace default calendar of MS Project with Persian Calendar.

    Is it possible? How?

Does Project SDK has any thing for replacing or adding calendars?

Is there any Source Code (C#) available?

  • No.

    I found:

    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/system.globalization.persiancalendar(v=vs.96).aspx

    http://www.codeproject.com/Articles/13465/Jalali-Calendar

Unfortunately it looks like converting from a solar to Gregorian calendar has been put in the too hard basket.

  • Hi Rod

I exactly want to embed Microsoft Persian Calendar (First link you provided) in place of default calendar of MS Project (Or any kind of user interface replacement coz we dont need to change back end data, a simple conversion would help).

I have seen some products that done this, but those are commercial and we dont have any access to them.
