How to control ACK generation RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello All,

    We are using BizTalk 2010.
Both parties are created, agreement has been set up between the two parties.
For some reason acknowledgements are being created automactically(both 997 and TA1) after receiving an EDI message.
Both check boxes on the "Acknowledgements" page are not checked(in both tabs).
And also "Fall back settings" are disabled.

So, I'm not sure how these ack are being generated and looking a way to control ACK generation, not sure why the "TA1 Expected" and "997 Expected" check boxes are not working.

    Thanks
    Bhava

  • Hi Bhava,

Receiving MDN configuration is set up at the sender side. So check if your sender party is requesting an MDN back. you might want them to disable that option.

  • To look into this issue what i sugegst is stop your send ports.

After that you will find all message in suspended state.

Once you have suspended 997/TA1 look into the context property of this message. Verify which agreeement/party setting it it using and see why its getting generated
