wpr -stop <filename> - is there an option to include timestamp in filename? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I need to trigger wpr start/stop multiple times from a monitoring tool. Is there an option in wpr to add timestamp to the filename in wpr -stop <filename>. I need it to avoid overwriting the file in subsequent calls. Something like the debugger has in the .dump command where the /t option adds process ID and timestamp.

Unfortunately the monitoring tool only has an option to define a batch file to run when to start and when to stop logging so I don't know how to change the file name for each call, and such a feature in wpr would be nice to have.
