Enabling Desktop Experience on Win 2K8 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I am looking for some way to enable desktop exp on Win 2K8 through a script.

I know how to do it manually but I couldn’t find any way to do it through script.

Does anybody know how we can do it?

    Thanks

  • Hi Rubel,

The desktop experience feature in not supported in Win 2k8 RTP. You may like to take a look at this KB article.

However we can get this on the desktop with some tweak but will not work on Terminal Server at all. For terminal server users, they will get the vista basic look.

You may like to take a look at the following link

    Thanks
