Need a simple macro that takes an image on a powerpoint slide and adds a textbox on top of it in the corner with the image filename RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi there - I have a fair amount of coding experience, but not in this environment.  What I want to do is select a picture on my slide by clicking on it, then click a macro button that will add a text caption overlaid on the image in one of the bottom corners that simply contains the filename of that picture.  Any hints?  What commands add a textbox, and is there something in Selection.Properties or somewhere that I can use to get the filename of the image?  Thanks!
