SQL Server 2005 compact with WinCE 6 R3

Question

Hi,

I want to know if SQL Server 2005 Compact can be installed on a DEVICE running WinCE 6.0 R3,.( I have a PC 104 SBC, running WinCE 6, Development system has VS2005)

I was looking for the CAB files to deploy on the device at the path:

\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 8\SmartDevices\SDK\SQL Server\Mobile\v3.0\platform\processor

I was not able to locate the WinCE6 platform folder, What I have at the path is SDK\SQL Server\Mobile\v3.0\wce400 and SDK\SQL Server\Mobile\v3.0\wce500

I could not locate the CAB files for WinCE6 platform.

I tried installing the cab files from the SDK\SQL Server\Mobile\v3.0\wce500 path on my device but got a warning that these are not supported on the platform, though the installation proceeded...not sure if this will work though

So I want to know where can I get the CAB files for SQL Server 2005 compact for WinCE 6/x86 platform.

For proper Win CE 6 support, use 3,5 SP2.

I also got the answer regarding the CAB files for WinCE6 from an earlier post of yours...

I installed the CAB files and I guess my device now has SQL 3.5 CE setup properly.

But I have a doubt for the Development System and SQL CE 3.5, I will create another thread for that.
