Soap Headers implementation with WCF RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi All,

    I have a service which I'm trying to consume. The authentication is a bit puzzling to me.

    Below is a simple sample of source code. Forgive my lack of expertise as I'm a novice.

    The token acquired has to be passed as a header in all future calls to the service:

    <soapenv:Header>
    <Authentication xmlns="http://www.evs.tv/XMLSchema/Authentication     /">xst:85607986-d882-4e01-a76c-39fcf6b80b59</Authentication>
    </soapenv:Header>

    How can I implement the above header after obtaining the token from the call to Authenticate(,). Authenticate returns a string.

     static void Main(string[] args)
            {
                using (AdvISEServiceClient proxy = new AdvISEServiceClient())
                {
                    string token;
                    token = proxy.Authenticate("administrator", "evs");

                }
            }

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank!
