Usage of protocol bind and unbinding RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi Experts,

As per my understanding I find the binding of interfaces in the USB NW adapters to bind two interface.

I find there is binding and un-binding process in the NDIS drivers. What is the typical usage of both in WDF ?

  • Bindings are the paths between drivers in the network stack. The binding process starts at the top of the stack in the protocol driver, and then works its way down the stack to filters, intermediates, and the miniport driver. There can be multiple protocol drivers binding to a single miniport.
