Microsoft.LightSwitch.Client.JavaScript.Runtime 2.5.2 Released RRS feed

  • General discussion

  • Microsoft.LightSwitch.Client.JavaScript.Runtime 2.5.2 is a targeted release focused on fixing a few critical issues reported by customers. It includes the following changes:

    Improvements to the Table Control

    • Rapidly toggling the header to change the sort order will no longer hang the application.
    • The header now used the right color when created.

    Improvements to the FlipSwitch Control

    • The value of the control is now set to false if the original value was undefined or null so that the UI and the entity bound to it are always in sync.

Improvements to the Model Picker Control

    • Setting the control value to null will now propagate to the view. This should enable the ability to properly use cascading lists visualized as modal pickers.

The update can be downloaded from the NuGet Gallery directly or by using the NuGet Package Manager in Visual Studio 2013. Like all runtime updates you will need to update any references to the CSS and JS(default.htm) manually. Usually a simple search and replace on the version number should be sufficient unless you have significantly modified the default.htm file in which case a more careful inspection might be required.
