Autocomplete Combobox in Windows Mobile - how to implement? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

Does anyone have any recommendations on how to implement an Autocomplete combobox in Windows Mobile?  In my searching, I was brought to the following link:

However, that solution simply doesn't work.  The for loop doesn't work and a runtime error occurs on the box.items[num] line due to the fact that num is -1.  Does anyone have any other alternatives?

  • Hi Eileen,

Unfortunately that is the exact code I provided in my original link, but just on a different site.  The for loop isn't properly set and it'll hit a null reference exception due to variable num that equals -1 in the beginning.

Please try the code from this blog. You can directly download and run sample.

Please let me know if it does not work.
