  • Hi SPAdmin,

According to your post my understanding is you scope is empty but crawling is happening. I would suspect that this is related to permission issue. Check the account permission level.

If my suggestion is not working please let us know

  • Hi spadminspadmin,

According to your description, the search scopes are empty while the crawling is happening.

I suggest you checking something below:
    1. Check if you have added rules to the scope and if the rules work.
    2. Check if you have enough permissions to access the content.
      Please refer to the case:
    3. Check if you have used AAM settings. Make sure the host header that is specified in your default zone is the same url you have used in your search content source.

Hope it will be helpful to you.
