Visual Studio Community usage

    Question

  • Hi all,

We are an entreprise and we want to use Visual Studio Community 2015 to develop GUI.

These graphical user interface can be sent to  our client free of charge.

My question is simple : Is it possible to use Visual Studio Community for entreprise application sent to final user ?

Or do we have to buy a professional edition ?

It is possible to send all source code to client to be OSI (Open Source).

  • Hi martin jl,

If you are a small team up to 5 member, you can use it... A small team up to five members can use Visual Studio Community for development, testing and publishing theri applications...

But as you are said that you are enterprise I recommend you to read full license: https://www.visualstudio.com/en-us/mt171547.aspx

From Visual Studio Community license: "...and you are also not an enterprise (defined below), then up to 5 of your individual users can use the software concurrently to develop and test your applications."

Full license terms, you can see more here: https://www.visualstudio.com/en-us/mt171547.aspx

    Best regards!
