The Subject has the entire story. I don't want to hide the updates, as I might someday install .Net 4.6 -- and I don't want to bother trying to install them, as I can't imagine that they will work (not unless they actually install the whole 4.6 framework).
I've checked both the directories under C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework and the registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\NET Framework Setup\NDP -- neither shows that 4.6 is installed.
Any thoughts?
