[HLK][Audio Device]DF-Hyper Visor Code Integrity Readiness Test FAIL; usbaudio.sys BSOD RRS feed

  • Question

  • We have a audio device installed with Microsoft usbaudio.sys driver.

Device can't test pass HLK, because BSOD occurs when test "DF-Hyper Visor Code Integrity Readiness Test"

    0xC4: DRIVER_VERIFIER_DETECTED_VIOLATION (usbaudio.sys )

How can a audio device can test pass HLK to get windows 10 certification

    ------------

Failing Test Name:  DF-Hyper Visor Code Integrity Readiness Test

Test System OS Build Number: Windows 10(Build 10586)

    HLK Build Number: 10.1.10586.0

    ---------------

    Thanks

  • Hi Kelly,

For the time being you can mention Filter #5792 in Readme doc to filter out this failure.

    https://sysdev.microsoft.com/en-US/Hardware/ec/FilterDetail.aspx?id=8651

    Thanks,

  • Hi Arpo,

    Thanks!

We will try to use this filter id to pass Microsoft Device Logo.

  • Hi Arpo,

How to mention Filter #5792 in Readme.doc during submit device to Microsoft?

    Any information to reference?

BTW, we try to download and installed HCKFilterUpdates package (2016.05.13), and it seems not filter out this failure to let HLK test result to PASS!

Maybe we should try to use your suggestion when we want to submit device to Microsoft.

    Thanks
