ODBC Driver for Windows 2008 64 Bit RRS feed

  • i'm trying to connect to a access database with my windows 2008 64 bit. in windows 2003, 32 bit, , i would just create a DSN with Access ODBC driver. 
    how can i find an ODBC driver for Windows 2008??

  • You can't.  There are lots of threads in the forum about there not being a 64-bit provider for Access.  Look around a bit.

  • i just found out the answer after googling some more. go to your windowsdirectory %systemroot%\sysWOW64\odbcad32.exe. this should do it.

  • That's the 32-bit "ODBC Data Sources" administration program.  Has nothing to do with ODBC providers.
