VBA for combo box RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi.

I just started using office 2010, and I'm trying to add a combo box to my form in Word. I would like to add VBA to an OnChange event, but can't seem to figure out how to do that. I've tried looking on line but have found nothing.

    Thanks,
    Brad

  • Hi Brad,

If you're going to add macros, the file format must be "docm" and the combo box control to add is under the "legacy" button. It's an ActiveX control. Once it's in your form, right click on it, choose View Code and the Change subroutine will open.

    Hope this helps

  • Thanks Rich! Perfect instructions.

Too back you can't do that with the new controls too.

    Have a great day,
