  • Hi!

I created a ticket and was serviced yesterday. I asked the Microsoft technician if backup and site recovery services could coexist on the same server (MARS and ASR) because backup stopped after installing ASR.
According to him, services cannot coexist on the same machine and that would be the cause of the problem. Therefore, I will disable MARS and will keep it with ASR only. The problem that I see in this is file recovery over a longer period, like 5 days ago ...

    Thanks!

  • Please upgrade to MARS agent version 2.0.9169.0. With this latest update you should be able to perform backups without any blockers. Let me know if you've hit the same error post agent update.

  • Thanks for the update! Glad to hear it is resolved :)

Just an FYI: It would not be a good idea to test both on the same machine. You can try these separately on test VMs.
