Is it possible to add an external trust domain to an intranet that has already had AD setup RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

We have an intranet site in which we sync with AD (internal network domain). Now, we need to add an external trust domain to our existing farm/intranet, is it possible ?

Thanks in advance. Your help would be greatly appreciated!

Answers

  • You can do it using two ways,

You can setup domain trust using ADFS if that domain is external to your company OR

Setup one two or two way trusts between the domain and configure People Picker to on each web application.
