Gesture event for webview in Windows store RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am working in windows Store project using c#. My intention is to load local HTML file in webview. I did Html file(which contains Images, links etc) to display Horizebtally with using of Invoking Javascript to webview.

Right now I am getting struggle about read the HTML page Slide by Slide using Gesture like(swipe, Tap).

I didn't see any event like View Changed or any other property to get gesture from Webview. I know webview is quite different from Remaining XAML controls to do this

Some people using webview in Flipview, Webviewbrush with webview

But I am wondering about Which solution is suitable for to retrieve event from Webview & current Scrollviewer position of webview.

Can any one give me Suggestion about this

NOTE: If I ask for code, please provide something that I can drop directly into a project and run (including XAML), or an actual application project. I'm trying to help a lot of people, so I don't have time to figure out weird snippets with undefined objects and unknown namespaces.

  • My question for you is:  where do you expect to handle these events?  Events that occur in HTML should be handled by JavaScript, whereas events that occur in XAML are handled by C#.  What is your specific scenario?

  • HI,
Thank you for considering my post.

My Scenario is using Html with in the Webview. So event have to be handled by JavaScript.

To be frank I didn't know this point. So I have to use Script Notify in webview.
I am not much familiar with Javascript
Can you help me out for  Javascript Notify event.
